Description

The seaside daisy varies in flower color throughout its range, which extends from Crescent City to the Channel Islands. Lavender is typical, but blues and whites also are encountered. The ‘White Lights’ selection was taken from Sonoma County by SF Bay Area plantsman Roger Raiche. This selection grows to about a foot in height with dense foliage and a spreading habit. It is highly adaptable to different soil types but does need some protection from the sun in interior settings. While ‘White Lights’ seaside daisy benefits from occasional to regular watering, it may be kept fairly dry in coastal settings or under light shade protection inland.
