Description
The willowy monardella is an extremely rare plant found only in a few locations in San Diego County and northern Baja. It is named for its narrow, lance-shaped leaves. Willowy monardella grows in an open rounded form with bright green leaves and round clusters of white to light lavender flowers. This plant is said to be sensitive to soil type. A fairly sandy loam seems best. The site should be well-draining and sunny. Willowy monardella is a good candidate for a potted native.
