Description
This selection of the widespread species grows in an open mound of dark green leaves to about 2 feet tall by 6 feet wide. It looks great on a hillside or growing over a ledge. It is also an excellent choice for a parking strip where it can be easily kept in bound with light trimming. It is similar to the ‘Terra Seca’ selection but has larger leaves and a more open habit. The flowers range from white to light lavender. ‘Jade Carpet does well in sun or partial shade with well-draining soil.
